Audition Schedule for 2007-2008 Season
Adult auditions for the Jonathan Larson musical, Tick, Tick, Boom!
will be held BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Monday, March 10 and Tuesday, March 11

Appointments will be taken every 10 minutes. All appointments must be scheduled through the Springfield Little Theatre Box Office by phone (869-1334) or in person.
Auditioners MUST PREPARE a contemporary, popular or rock tune of your choice and a short vocal selection from the show. Sheet music may be picked up at the Box Office. An accompanist will be provided. No pre-recorded music, please.
A musical look at the courage it takes to follow your dreams, Tick, Tick, Boom! is Jonathan Larson’s autobiographical tale of a young composer on the brink of turning 30 and falling into oblivion. His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city, his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Ave, yet Jon is still waiting on tables and trying to write the great American musical.
Characters and Vocal Ranges
Jonathan, age 29 A to A, two octaves
Susan, mid 20’s-30’s Ab to D
Mike, mid 20’s-30’s Bb to F
The characters of Susan and Mike must be able to portray a wide range of characters and ages. The show is vocally demanding. You must be able to comfortably sing these ranges in a solid chest voice. Audition materials you choose should reflect these ranges.
Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 7pm.

Callbacks will be Wednesday, April 9, 7:00 p.m. SEUSSICAL The Musical will be directed and choreographed by Lorianne Dunn and musical-directed by Aaron Smith. The initial cast meeting and first SEUSSICAL rehearsal will be held Sunday, April 13 from 7-10 p.m. Rehearsals will be scheduled Sunday-Thursday between 6-10 p.m.
