Chicago
Audition Notice

April 1-17, 2011 Book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse. Music by John Kander. Lyrics by Fred Ebb. Winner of six Tony Awards including Best Revival and later the Academy Award for Best Picture of the Year, Chicago is based on a play by Maurine Dallas Watkins. Chicago tells the story of Roxies Hart, a chorus girl who murders her unfaithful lover but manages to avoid prison with the help of her razzle-dazzle lawyer. Roxie, along with another murderous chorus girl, uses the trial to propel herself to showbiz stardom. Chicago has everything that makes a musical great: universal tale of fame, fortune and “All That Jazz!”
