Let's make a play date! Join us at the Landers Theatre during the 2007-2008 school year for School's Out Workshops! These workshops provide a unique opportunity for children to undergo training in the performing arts and are a lifesaver for parents on those days when the kids are out of school! Kids ages 5-12 are invited to participate in a full day of activities including theatre games, improvisation, dance, and a tour of the historic Landers Theatre. They will also tackle a script that they will perform at the end of the day (5:00 p.m.) for parents and friends! Play-in-a-Day Workshops are from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and cost $25 per day. SUMMER STAGES 2008 (Registration Deadline--June 6) Call 869-3869 x21 to request a full brochure and registration form! Springfield Little Theatre offers two two-week intensive summer sessions to students ages 4-18 (Monday-Thursday, June 16-26 and August 4-14). Summer Stages offers kids the opportunity to feel good about who they are and who they can be! Each day students participate in improvisation, sing, dance, create an art project, and work on a script under the direction of theatre professionals. T-shirts and snacks are provided! Each session culminates in a final performance to be held on the last day of the workshop. Springfield Little Theatre's Summer Stages will be held at the Landers Theatre and costs $160.00 with a Family Discount available for two or more kids per family. (Sign up 1 child and send the second child for 1/2 price!!) There is also a Buddy Discount in place. (Sign up a friend and save! $15 discount per child.)
