Their adventures along the way are hilarious, suspenseful and heartwarming, bringing to life your favorite characters from the novel-the Widow Douglas and her stern sister, Miss Watson; the uproarious King and Duke, who may or may not be as harmless as the seem; Huck’s partner in crime, Tom Sawyer, and their rowdy gang of pals; Huck’s drunken father, the sinister Pap Finn; the lovely Mary Jane Wilkes and her trusting family. Special Ticket Offer to SLT Performance of “Children of Eden” –$10 per ticket
(Regular ticket prices are $25 for adults, $22 for students and seniors, and $15 for children 14 and under)
From Stephen Schwartz (“Godspell” and “Wicked”) and John Caird of “Les Miserables” comes a joyous and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith.
Freely based on the story of Genesis, Children of Eden is a frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age- old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the “Father” who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that “the hardest part of love…is letting go.” Promises to be the most beautiful show of the season!
