It’s hard to believe, but it is time again to experience the magic of another fun-filled season at the Landers Theatre.  We hope you can help us out and come usher at as many shows as possible.  We will need ushers for all nine shows during the 2006-2007 season.  Please find a time that works best for you and give us a call during business hours 11-5 Monday thru Friday at 869-1334 x4 or send an e-mail to the Box Office Manager at . 

DRESS CODE:

Solid white shirt, solid black pants or skirt and black shoes.  Adherence to the dress-code policy will be strictly upheld.  This is a simple requirement designed to facilitate the ease with which our patrons can identify our ushers.

CALL TIME: 

Plan on being here one hour prior to Showtime.  You will not be able to usher if you are late or not dressed appropriately. 

AWARD SYSTEM:

To let our ushers know how much their time and effort means to our theatre the SLT Staff has put together an award system.  Every usher who wants to participate in the award system has a fair and equal opportunity to be awarded for his or her time at the theatre. 

Requirements: 

• The usher must be present at four shows in a row without skipping any shows
• The usher must follow and comply with the call time, dress code, and house manager rules
• The usher must help stuff playbills and programs prior to Showtime
• The usher must be present for House Manager speech before every show
• The usher must be friendly and helpful to every patron that visits the theatre
• The usher must know the seat numbers in their usher station and assist patrons during seating of the show
• The usher must stay for the entire length of the show
• The usher must help clean up their usher station after the show

If all of the requirements have been met than after the fourth show the usher will receive an award.  The award will be a personalized usher name badge. That name badge can be worn as usher attire at every show following.  The process will repeat for the next four shows in a row that the usher is present.  

The SLT staff encourages all volunteers to usher and hopes this award system will help show each and everyone of you how much we appreciate your time and dedication to the theatre.
