MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE CLASSES

Session I:  September 10-October 18

Session II:  October 29-December 6

Session III:  January 7-February 14

Session IV:  February 25-April 10

Session V:  April 21-May 29 

All Musical Theatre Dance classes are held at the Landers Theatre, 311 East Walnut.

The tuition for an entire six-week session of classes is $50.  There is a slight break if you wish to enroll in two courses over the period of a six-week session--$90 for both. 

RAZZLE DAZZLE

Ages 4-5

A beginning level musical theatre dance class geared toward promoting basic coordination, flexibility, and fun!

BROADWAY BOUND 

Musical Theatre Dance for Ages 6-8

In addition to learning fundamental dance steps, students will have the opportunity to perform repertory from popular children's musicals.  What a wonderful way to prepare for that next audition!

BEGINNING TAP-A

Ages 6-8

Learn the fundamentals of tap dancing in a supportive environment specifically tailored to engage the young entertainer!  Bring your tap shoes and Put On A Happy Face!

STEPPIN' OUT 

Musical Theatre Dance for Ages 9-12

Learn to dance while enjoying both classic and contemporary showtunes.  Expand your dance vocabulary; improve your technique; and develop your performance skills!

BEGINNING TAP-B

Ages 9-12

Put your best foot forward!  A beginning level tap class for the young musical theatre performer.  Must have proper footwear.

GOTTA DANCE 

Teens

Back by popular demand, this class is high-energy, fun-spirited, and a terrific work-out!  GOTTA DANCE features warm-ups, floor work, and musical theatre repertory.

ADULT MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE 

18 and up

Are you dying to jump up on that stage and "give 'em the old razzle dazzle" but feel a little less than dazzling in the dance department?  This class is a guaranteed confidence catapult!  Have fun finding your star quality in a light-hearted, supportive environment!

BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE TAP 

Teens and Adults

Tap your troubles away!  Offered due to popular request, this class serves as a great introduction to tap for the musical theatre lover or as a refresher course for the intermediate student.  Bring your shoes and be ready to have some fun!

COLLEGE TAP--Low Intermediate Collegiate Level

College Students and Adults with prior experience

This new offering will run March 31-May 5 and will be taught by Missouri State University instructor Darrel Clark.
