CATS
September 10-26, 2010 Based on the whimsical poetry of T.S. Eliot, CATS, through spectacular song and dance, tells the story of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats at which time one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside layer (a sort of “cat heaven”). The multiple Tony-award winning CATS, composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber (composer of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Phantom of the Opera, etc.), has conquered the world as the longest running musical in history, been translated into 20 languages, and features a magical score including “Memory.” The energy and elegance that has elevated CATS to world popularity makes it a purr-fect show for the whole family to experience. A true musical theatre phenomenon.
