We all love the familiar tale of kindly, bewhiskered man who believes himself to be the real Santa Claus, who is hired to be in the Macy’s parade by a harried young mother who had raised her daughter to not believe in Santa, and the mom’s lawyer/boyfriend who rescues all three of them. If you’ve seen the Academy Award winning film, you know the happy outcome. But knowing the ending does not diminish the power of this story to restore the Christmas spirit in even the most determined grinch.
