TAKE-A-SEAT at SLT
Twenty years ago, the original Take – A - Seat campaign raised money to totally refurbish the theatre’s seats. Since that time, tens of thousands of theatregoers have visited The Landers annually and those refurbished seats decidedly need to be replaced.
SLT is very pleased to announce that beautiful, comfortable, new seating will be installed in the theatre early in November 2006. As part of this renovation, the Take – A – Seat campaign is being reactivated with the single purpose of raising the necessary funding for this project. Please join us in this labor of love by Taking A Seat at The Landers. An order form can be found at the bottom of this page. Take – A – Seat contributors from the original Take – A – Seat campaign will automatically have their nameplates transferred to the new seats. No matter what brings you to The Landers, whether it be Springfield Little Theatre productions, The Springfield Ballet, The Springfield Regional Opera or any of the dozens of other special events, you know how important it is to restore and maintain the beauty and comfort of The Crown Jewel of the Ozarks, our own historical treasure, The Landers Theatre. The original seats will be available for purchase for a limited time. Individual seats come without end stanchions and are $30.00 each. For one seat with no end stanchions to be compete, three must be purchased in order to use the armrests. End stanchions are $150.00 each. Two end stanchions and one seat – only $300.00!
