Thank you so very much to everyone who auditioned for Springfield Little Theatre’s Youthfest Talent Showcase 2019! We are grateful to you for contributing to SLT’s scholarship fund for graduating seniors and we are very impressed with your level of preparation and the amount of talent displayed! What an enjoyable afternoon of entertainment for our panel of judges. (Thank you to Glenn Sneed, Sandy Skoglund-Young, Madelyn Baum, Abigail Mercer, and Jessica Bower, in addition to the full time SLT education staff representatives, for serving on the evaluation panel. We are appreciative of your time and expertise.)
If your act was selected to be presented at Youthfest 2019, please search for and request to join the facebook group SLT’s Youthfest Talent Showcase 2019. You will be asked to schedule coaching sessions for your pieces and you may be asked to edit the length of your selection, alter your apparel, or change songs. Please note that no edits to your selections may be made outside of the direction of the SLT education staff. If, at auditions, you played your music off of your phone, please email your track to firstname.lastname@example.org or send her a private facebook message. (She has the ability to convert youtube links if necessary.)
In addition to meeting for private coaching, we will look forward to seeing you all at Dress Rehearsal Sunday, March 31, 5:00-10:00 p.m. and at the showcase Monday, April 1, 6:00 p.m. call/7:30 p.m. show.
We were impressed with all of the acts and would be interested in working further with those of you who were not cast in Youthfest 2019 to feature your act at a different performance. A staff member will be in contact with you soon to work out the details.
Thank you, again, to our panel and to all of the entrants!
