The Springfield Little Theatre has the incredible honor of being housed in the historic Landers Theatre in downtown Springfield. Turning 109 years old this year, The Landers has been lovingly referred to as The Crown Jewel of the Ozarks for providing a place that so many people throughout the last century have called home.
With this being our 84th season, we are entering a pivotal time in our history, when the growth of the education department and the caliber of performances is at an all-time high. Our home, The Landers Theatre, looks beautiful from the seats, but is in critical need of repair to withstand another century of live performances. Furthermore, with the success of our Education Department, we have hit a crossroads where a larger facility will allow us to bring even more opportunities to the youth in our community, creating a bigger impact on our community today and in the future.
