SUMMER INTENSIVES
Springfield Little Theatre’s Education Department offers a variety of Summer Intensives designed to help students grow their skills, build confidence, and deepen their love of the performing arts. From acting and dance to other focused theatrical training opportunities, these intensives give participants the chance to learn from experienced instructors in a fun, encouraging, and creative environment. Whether your student is just getting started or looking to strengthen their technique, there is an exciting opportunity waiting this summer.
Do you want to create your own theatrical stories on stage? The Devising Original Theatre Springfield’s Young Artist intensive has been created just for you! In one week, we will take your ideas from first glimmer to full production. We will explore how to tell stories through movement, words, sound, lighting, and puppetry. There is a place for all who are interested in becoming a playwright, composer, actor, director, or theatre maker. The culmination of this intensive includes performances during the July 9-12 DOTS Fringe Festival at the Judy.
