SPRINGFIELD LITTLE THEATRE IS BRINGING MUSICAL THEATRE TO YOUR SCHOOL!

With hour-long performances suitable for young audiences, SLT On Wheels School Tour Company provides an opportunity for young students to experience a live theatre production in their very own school! Each performance promises to be interactive, educational, and fun for students of all ages. Prior to each performance, Springfield Little Theatre will share an activity packet with teachers that help to further enforce themes found during the show and teaches elements of theatrical productions.

The mission of SLT On Wheels is to provide engaging, inspiring, and interactive theatre for school children, many of whom may have no other or limited access to the performing arts.

SLT On Wheels productions:

  • Encourage young people to tap into their own reservoirs of creativity and talent
  • Present role models and encourage positive values through each show’s content
  • Enhance the theatre experience which children share with their friends, classmates, and teachers
  • Encourage a lifelong appreciation of the arts
  • Build our community’s audiences for the future

Springfield Little Theatre requests a donation of $500 to our Education Department for SLT On Wheels to visit your school.
