Gavin Alexander
Gavin Alexander is a theatrical technician with experience in audio, lighting, stage operations, and live performance production. His professional career has taken him behind the scenes of Broadway national tours and major theatrical productions, including THE BOOK OF MORMON, MEAN GIRLS, WATER FOR ELEPHANTS, and THE GREAT GATSBY.
Working across multiple areas of technical production, Gavin has developed a particular passion for sound and lighting and the important role each plays in supporting the story onstage. His touring experience has given him the opportunity to work alongside theatre professionals from across the country while developing the adaptability, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit required to bring large-scale productions to life night after night.
Gavin is proud to bring that professional experience back home to Springfield Little Theatre and to contribute his skills to the organization and theatre community that helped foster his love of the art form. He looks forward to continuing to grow as a theatre professional while helping create memorable work for SLT audiences, artists, and volunteers.
When Gavin isn’t working in the theatre, there’s a good chance he can still be found at the theatre—because apparently even his free time needs a ticket.
