Waitress

SPRINGFIELD LITTLE THEATRE’S 90th EMERALD ANNIVERSARY SEASON

WAITRESS

January 31 – February 16, 2025

The Hit Broadway Musical!

Meet Jenna, a gifted waitress and pie maker at Joe’s Diner who is stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage to her controlling husband, Earl. When an unexpected pregnancy and a baking contest in a nearby county offer a glimmer of hope, Jenna begins to dream of a fresh start. With support from her quirky fellow waitresses Becky and Dawn, a surprising connection with her charming new doctor, and a little wisdom from the diner’s cantankerous owner, Joe, Jenna must find the courage to rebuild her own life, one slice at a time.

With a heartfelt score by Grammy winner Sara Bareilles, including “She Used to Be Mine” and “Opening Up,” WAITRESS is a warm, funny, and deeply moving celebration of friendship, motherhood, and the courage to follow your dreams.
