Kaleb Norman has been an SLT Academy instructor for 13 years, bringing his experience as an actor, director, filmmaker, and improviser into the classroom at The Judy. He also serves as Theatre Director for the Academy of Fine and Performing Arts, is a board member for Devising Original Theatre Springfield (DOTS), and serves as Multimedia Track Director for Tremendicon.

Kaleb holds a BFA in Acting from Missouri State University. Over the course of his career, he has appeared in more than 100 plays and musicals, dozens of films, years of sketch comedy, and numerous performances as an improv actor.

His training in improvisation began during college and continued through study with Rich Baker, author of IMPROV MADE EASIER. That work has become an important part of Kaleb’s approach to theatre—encouraging performers to listen, collaborate, make bold choices, and trust their instincts.

After more than a decade of teaching with SLT Academy, Kaleb continues to love helping young artists become more confident, spontaneous, and fearless both onstage and off.
