Aubrey L. Smith is a Springfield native, vocalist, music educator, and music director who teaches voice and music at The Judy. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Ozarks Technical Community College, where she teaches voice, music history, and humanities, and maintains a private voice studio.

Aubrey holds a Bachelor of Music Education in Voice from Drury University. She continued her graduate studies at the University of Missouri, completing teaching assistantships in Choral Conducting with Dr. R. Paul Crabb and Vocal Performance with Professor Steven Tharp. She continues her vocal studies with professional soprano Jennifer Forni.

As a performer, Aubrey’s recent credits include Sandra Bloom in BIG FISH with Springfield Contemporary Theatre and Mrs. Potts in DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at Springfield Little Theatre. She also covered the role of Donna Elvira in DON GIOVANNI with Ozarks Lyric Opera.

Aubrey has served as music director for productions with Springfield Little Theatre, Drury University, Central High School, and Springfield Catholic High School, with recent credits including THE SPITFIRE GRILL and NEVERMORE at Drury University.

Aubrey loves helping young singers build healthy technique, musical confidence, and a deeper understanding of their own unique voices. She is thrilled to be part of the education team at The Judy and to help students grow as both musicians and storytellers.
