Forbidden Broadway’s Greatest Hits

FORBIDDEN BROADWAY’S GREATEST HITS

Presented under COVID-19 safety protocols, including masking and reduced capacity.

September 10-20, 2020

Broadway’s biggest hits are about to meet their match. Wickedly funny and delightfully irreverent, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY’S GREATEST HITS turns musical theatre’s most beloved shows into an evening of outrageous comedy. Created and written by Gerard Alessandrini, this musical revue takes aim at towering egos, dramatic excess, and those impossibly high notes—all with genuine affection for the theatre it lovingly spoofs.

From the barricades of LES MISÉRABLES to the gravity-defying spectacle of WICKED, familiar Broadway favorites return with decidedly unfamiliar lyrics. A versatile cast transforms into larger-than-life stars and characters, poking fun at shows including ANNIE, CHICAGO, RENT, and more. It’s a celebration of everything that makes musical theatre unforgettable—and occasionally just a little ridiculous.
