NUNSENSE

Presented under COVID-19 safety protocols, including masking and reduced capacity.

May 6-23, 2021

Big voices, strong personalities, and a few very bad habits. NUNSENSE brings five unforgettable sisters into the spotlight for a musical comedy where good intentions meet glorious chaos. With lively songs, mischievous humor, and more show-business ambition than Mother Superior bargained for, this spirited revue proves that a little sisterly competition can make for a heavenly night at the theatre.

When a disastrous convent meal leaves the Little Sisters of Hoboken with an unexpected funeral bill, five surviving nuns stage a benefit performance to raise the money. With four dearly departed sisters still waiting in the freezer, the pressure is on—but keeping this unlikely troupe on task is no small miracle. What follows is a madcap variety show filled with unexpected talents, competing personalities, and an increasingly desperate determination to make sure the show goes on.
