MATILDA THE MUSICAL

June 11-27, 2021

Sometimes the smallest person in the room has the biggest story to tell. ROALD DAHL’S MATILDA THE MUSICAL brings the beloved book to life with mischievous humor, boundless imagination, and a spirited celebration of standing up for what is right. Featuring Tim Minchin’s inventive score, including “Naughty,” “When I Grow Up,” and “Revolting Children,” this extraordinary musical reminds us that courage comes in every size—and that nobody else should get to write your ending.

Matilda Wormwood is a remarkable little girl with a brilliant mind, a love of books, and parents who would rather she watch television. School offers the promise of something better, especially when her kindhearted teacher, Miss Honey, recognizes her extraordinary gifts. But the terrifying headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, rules through fear and has no patience for children who think for themselves. Armed with cleverness, determination, and a surprising power of her own, Matilda sets out to change her story—and help those around her find the courage to do the same.
