Understudies 

(Please note: Understudies will not perform their understudy role unless a principal player is in a dire emergency during the production run.  Understudies will not automatically assume the understudy role if a principal player rejects their role assignment or has to leave the show during the rehearsal process.  In that circumstance, the artistic team will evaluate the best path forward for the production, taking into consideration and weighing options regarding the unique demands of the understudy’s primary assignments.  With this information, if you do not wish to accept the the responsibility of learning a role to safeguard the production in a potential emergency, please e-mail [email protected] prior to Sunday.  Thank you!)

Thank you so very much to everyone who auditioned for Springfield Little Theatre’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid!  We are sincerely grateful to each of you for sharing so generously of your time and extraordinary talent, and, if you weren’t cast or if you listed specific considerations only that did not shake out in the puzzle of casting, we look forward to seeing you at the show, at future auditions, and in our education class and production offerings, and we absolutely welcome you to be a part of contributing to the creation of props, the set, costumes, or serving on the technical crew.
