Home Education Department Artistry in Motion

Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned for Springfield Little Theatre’s Artistry in Motion! It was such a pleasure to be in the studio with you. We are sincerely grateful to each of you for sharing your passion for dance, and we are inspired by your thirst for opportunities to grow, create, and perform as a movement artist.
If your name appears below, congratulations! We are so excited to gather our 2026-2027 ensemble for a participant and parent meeting to be held this Monday, August 3 at 5:30 p.m. in The Reynolds Auditorium at The Judy, 237 South Florence Avenue, and for our Choreography Intensives to be held Monday, August 17 and Wednesday, August 19 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
For the participant and parent meeting, please dress in any combination of the colors in the Richard Lewis painting of The McDaniel School/The Judy (will be shared in the SLT’s Artistry in Motion 2026-2027 Facebook group) and look your very best. Individual photos and candids will be taken upon arrival and a group photo will be taken immediately following the meeting.
For the Choreography Intensives, please dress in cool, comfortable clothing that will not restrict your movement in any way and bring all of your dance shoes. Bring a water bottle and a sack lunch! Our lunches will be “Lunch and Learns” so there will not be a window of time to leave the premises to purchase food. You may arrive as early as 8:30 a.m. each morning.
Please search for and request to join the Facebook group SLT’s Artistry in Motion 2026-2027. More information regarding the choreography intensives, weekly rehearsals, upcoming performances, attire, merchandise links, registration and tuition links, etc. will be posted there following the meeting this Monday.

Thank you, again, to all.
