Pippin

PIPPIN

April 14 – 30, 2023

Presented in conjunction with 417 Aerial, this high-flying production of the Tony Award-winning musical invites audiences to join a mysterious troupe of players, led by the charismatic Leading Player, as they tell the story of Pippin, a young prince searching for his “corner of the sky.” Eager to find meaning and fulfillment, Pippin tries his hand at war, romance, power, and politics, all under the watchful eye of his father, King Charlemagne, his scheming stepmother, Fastrada, and his free-spirited grandmother, Berthe. But when he finds an unexpected home with the widow Catherine and her son Theo, Pippin must decide what a truly extraordinary life really means.

Featuring Stephen Schwartz’s beloved score, including “Magic to Do” and “Corner of the Sky,” along with breathtaking acrobatics and aerial artistry, PIPPIN is a dazzling, magical, and thought-provoking theatrical experience.
