THE SOUND OF MUSIC

Presented under COVID-19 safety protocols, including masking and reduced capacity.

January 29 – February 14, 2021

Few musicals bring generations together quite like THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s beloved classic pairs an unforgettable score with a story of family, courage, and finding where you belong. Featuring “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Edelweiss,” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” this enduring favorite offers warmth, spirited humor, and the joy of voices raised together.

In Austria on the eve of World War II, spirited young Maria leaves the abbey to become governess to the seven children of Captain Georg von Trapp. With kindness, determination, and a gift for music, she brings laughter back to their home and finds an unexpected love of her own. But as Nazi power threatens their country, Maria and the Captain must summon the courage to protect their family and stand by what they believe.
