Tracy O’Donnell teaches dance at The Judy and brings a lifetime of professional performance experience into the classroom. Originally from the Chicago area, Tracy began dancing at age three and was performing professionally by age eight, when she joined Indianapolis Ballet’s touring production of THE NUTCRACKER.

At 13, Tracy received a full scholarship to study at the Chicago City Ballet School with legendary ballerina Maria Tallchief. She later performed with Ballet Chicago in CINDERELLA and continued her training through summer intensives with Dance Theatre of Harlem and The Ailey School in New York City. Her professional career has taken her from the Tribeca Performing Arts Center to the Chicago company of the RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR, where she performed for two seasons, as well as aboard Cunard Cruise Line, traveling to 28 countries.

After moving to Branson, Tracy performed for five years in the SHOJI TABUCHI SHOW, appeared with the Kirby VanBurch magic show—including the 2008 World Magic Awards—and performed with C.J. Newsom’s Classic Country while teaching dance in the Branson area.

Today, Tracy loves sharing the joy of dance with her SLT Academy students. She finds teaching incredibly rewarding and hopes to help each dancer build confidence, develop strong technique, and discover the same love of movement that has shaped her own life.
