Andrew Wilson
Andrew Wilson is a scenic designer, director, performer, and proud alumnus of Springfield Little Theatre’s Y.E.S. Troupe. After more than a decade of involvement with SLT, Andrew now brings his creativity behind the scenes as a member of the Education Department team, where he has designed, built, and painted more than 40 sets for productions at The Judith Enyeart Reynolds School of the Performing Arts.
Andrew’s scenic design work has also expanded to the historic Landers Theatre, where his mainstage credits include Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, Disney’s FROZEN, and SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL. His work combines a love of storytelling with a hands-on approach to design, painting, and the countless details that help transform a stage into another world.
Before finding his place behind the scenes, Andrew spent years performing on the Landers stage. His more than 30 SLT performance credits include WEST SIDE STORY as Baby John, THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL as SpongeBob, SOMETHING ROTTEN! as Nigel, ELF THE MUSICAL as Buddy, THE LITTLE MERMAID as Prince Eric, LES MISÉRABLES as Marius, among many others.
Outside of Springfield Little Theatre, Andrew has appeared at Juanita K. Hammons Hall in the national tour of CAMELOT and has performed as a host and dancer for Summer Nights Dance Party at Silver Dollar City.
As someone who grew up within Springfield Little Theatre’s Education Department, Andrew is especially proud to now help create opportunities for the next generation of young artists. He considers it an honor to contribute to the continued legacy of the organization that helped shape him as both an artist and a person.
