Karen Richter
Karen Richter has been a full-time member of the Springfield Little Theatre staff for more than a decade, and it was at SLT that she discovered a passion for graphic arts and visual design. Through her work, Karen helps shape the visual identity of the organization and brings the stories, programs, and productions of Springfield Little Theatre to life.
A native of St. Louis, Karen’s love of theatre began early with visits to the Fabulous Fox Theatre, where the excitement and spectacle of live performance made a lasting impression. Years later, that appreciation for the arts found a home at Springfield Little Theatre, where her background in marketing and her growing interest in design came together.
Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with an emphasis in Advertising and Promotions from Missouri State University and holds a master’s degree in Marketing from Florida Institute of Technology.
Karen is proud to be part of the team behind Springfield Little Theatre and especially values the opportunity to use her creativity in support of an organization and art form she loves. Outside of SLT, she is the proud mother of three grown daughters, Renee, Leah, and Amber.
