Madelyn Baum-Bogowith
Madelyn Baum has been part of the Springfield Little Theatre community for more than 15 years. Her journey began at the age of nine through a Summer Institute production and six-week education classes, eventually growing into years of performance, training, leadership, and service to the organization.
As a performer, Madelyn has appeared in 25 productions on the Landers stage, with favorite credits including ELF JR., MAMMA MIA!, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, and KINKY BOOTS. She also spent six years in Springfield Little Theatre’s Youth Performance Troupe program and is a proud graduate of Y.E.S. Troupe.
While Madelyn continues to love performing, she discovered that her greatest passion for the arts lies in the work that makes them possible and accessible to others. Her interests include arts administration, nonprofit leadership, accessibility, graphic arts, communications, and the many ways an arts organization can serve and strengthen its community. During her senior year of high school, she served as an Arts Administration Intern with Springfield Little Theatre, helping prepare her for a career devoted to that work.
Madelyn graduated from Drury University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theatre and Arts Administration, along with a Professional and Digital Communications certificate and coursework in Graphic Design. She later earned a Master’s degree in Nonprofit and Civic Leadership.
Madelyn has wanted to build a life in the arts for as long as she can remember and is grateful to now do that work at the organization that helped shape her own journey. She is especially proud to be part of a community rooted in creativity, service, excellence, and the joy of making theatre together.
