SEEKING SINGERS, DANCERS, VARIETY ACTS, MUSICIANS, ACTORS, ETC. for YOUTHFEST TALENT SHOWCASE 2026!

 Auditions will be held Sunday, January 11, 2026 beginning at 12:00 PM at The Judith Enyeart Reynolds School of the Performing Arts for Springfield Little Theatre.

Youthfest Talent Showcase is a Variety Show FUNDRAISER for the SLT scholarship program, featuring performers ages 12-18!  There will be ONE $500 check awarded to a junior or senior in high school the evening of Youthfest based on his/her performance in the Talent Showcase (evaluated by area arts professionals)! Other monies raised go directly into scholarships for graduating senior applicants who have in some way contributed to Springfield Little Theatre either on a performance or technical level.

There is an individual entrant fee of $25 that must accompany a Youthfest Talent Showcase Audition Form.  Please make checks payable to Springfield Little Theatre.  Please have your Audition Form completed and in hand at auditions OR have completed registration online in advance.

Auditions will be held at The Judith Enyeart Reynolds School of the Performing Arts for Springfield Little Theatre.  Please wear performance attire~your picture will be taken on this day to use in the program should you be cast in the showcase.  (If selected to perform, we reserve the right to ask you to edit your piece for appropriateness of dress, content or time if necessary.)  Be prepared to present the exact selection that you would like to have considered to be slotted into the showcase. Unless you will be accompanying yourself, please plan to perform with an accompaniment track.

Please e-mail your track ahead of time to [email protected].  No underclassman act should exceed 2 minutes.   Junior or senior acts should not exceed 3 minutes.  Please cut your pieces appropriately.  (If selected to perform in the showcase, we will schedule a required coaching session for your piece and we do reserve the right to edit your piece in any way we see fit.)

The cast list will be posted Monday, January 12 on our website at springfieldlittletheatre.org. If you are cast, we congratulate you now!  Please join the facebook group SLT’s Youthfest Talent Showcase 2026 for further instruction, and please mark your calendars for the following very important dates:

• Sunday, February 1, 6:00-10:00 PM — Y.E.S. Troupe Group Numbers Only Rehearsal
• Monday, February 2, 5:00-10:00 p.m. — Dress Rehearsal for All Involved in Youthfest Talent Showcase 2026
  • This rehearsal is non-negotiable.  Please wear performance attire as promotional photos will be taken throughout the rehearsal
• Tuesday, February 3, 5:30 PM call, 7:00 PM performance —YOUTHFEST TALENT SHOWCASE
