SUMMER INSTITUTES: Ages 10-18

Six public performances. Previous workshop experience is required.

Springfield Little Theatre Summer Institutes are intensive, all-inclusive theatrical training grounds for experienced young musical theatre performers resulting in six public performances. They provide exciting opportunities for committed students to be a part of full-scale production. A demanding two-week process from beginning to end, a Springfield Little Theatre Summer Institute may best be described as “summer stock” for youth!

Any high school student with equivalent experience (high school theatre, etc.) is invited to enroll in a Summer Institute. For students 8th grade and under, previous Springfield Little Theatre involvement is required for participation (a class, workshop, troupe, or production) or the pre-requisite can be satisfied through previous enrollment in a 6-week education class, School’s Out Play-in-a-Day Workshop, Education Series production, Summer Stages workshop, or Friday Fun Day!
